If a home is one’s castle, the bedroom is surely one’s sanctuary. A place to retreat and recharge. Which is why it is so important that it is furnished for maximum comfort, as well as personal style.

As we know, the design world adores a buzzword, darling. The Danish concept of Hygge has been having an extended moment over the past couple of years.

Hygge (pronounced hue-guh) is a word used by the Danes to acknowledge a feeling or moment which is cosy, charming or special. Creating that feeling in the bedroom is the art of great interior design. Never mind buzzwords…it’s a timeless recipe to soothe a harried soul!

If you’re an interior designer or retailer looking for tantalising new wholesale bedroom pieces for residential or commercial projects, we’ve got some of the best in bedroom from the 2018 Decor + Design exhibitors.

The Scent of Europe – French Country Collections “Amaretto” Diffuser.

French Country Collections’ pieces are inspired by the simple luxury of the French way of life, plus a passion for creating homes “made to be lived in, loved and shared.” Sounds like the embodiment of “Hygge” to us!

With 30 years’ in the business, the New-Zealand based business has clearly perfected the art of curating treasures for stylish and elegant homes.

The brand have many pieces that would work well in the boudoir, including some stunning cushions in pastel and neutral tones.

However for a whiff of old Europe, we love the “Amaretto” Diffuser. Its dusty pink ceramic base is perfect for an ensuite. The aroma is soft but rich, with hints of coffee and biscotti.

Enjoy while soaking in a long, long bubble bath.

Pick out some comfort pieces at French Country Collections’ Decor + Design stand – L04.
