Ready, Set, DESIGN!

Ready, Set, DESIGN! will be an exciting space for activations in 2026. A dynamic lounge furnished and styled by Temple & Webster, the space will host live challenges for teams of interior design students from Australia’s major design schools.

Across two days, ten teams of interior design students will respond to design briefs using miniature furniture crafted by 3D printing company Fabwork. The competition will be judged by industry experts Dina Kalpouzos (Concept Living), TV host and Designer James Treble and Lucy Sutherland (Temple & Webster).

The Ready, Set, DESIGN Lounge will be located near the hugely popular VIVID Emerging Designer Awards, forming a vibrant hub for interior design students, emerging designers, industry judges, media and sponsors to network and enjoy other activations such as pop-up ‘Student Toolbox Talks’ and ‘Style It, Snap It’ competitions.
